Just received my Fitbit a week ago and it will not read my heart rate or track at all during exercise.  It also is not tracking calories whatsoever when working out.

Please check whether or not you can see green and/or red LEDs flickering on the backside of your Versa 4 while exercising. And make sure to wear your device correctly:
