How do I manually log activities with my Versa 4?

Hi,

Just got a Versa 4, I rollerblade and it has that listed and is superb.

However, I also train in ITF/TAGB Taekwondo three times a week for an hour but we are not allowed to wear watches, etc.

I have searched for "how to manually add..." but everything comes back to say press the "+" on the exercise tile. My Versa 4 does not have a + on the exercise tile?

I've tried Today, I get a list of stats for today I can scroll through. I've tried Exercise and I get a Recent list and Explore which provides a list of Popular exercises... But no +?

So, specifically for the Versa 4 how would I enter an hour of Taekwondo?

I have found Martial Arts , but that provides a Play icon and pressing that starts a timer. ...

I also use Fitness Pal and for the moment I enter it there, but folks have told me I can do it from the Versa 4 itself.

Thanks

Dave

Hi there, @Gladiator62. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to find the answer to your inquiry before posting here.

Please note the steps you listed have to be done on the Fitbit app, not your Versa 4. So, please try the following:

  • Tap on the "+" sign on the Exercise tile on your Fitbit app
  • Slide the toggle to Log
  • Enter your activity name in the search field
  • Tap on the Starts box and choose the correct date on the spinning date wheel
  • The start time is irrelevant when adding to a previous day
  • Set the duration for your activity
  • Set the distance for your activity (if applicable)
  • Tap Add

Just to clarify, there's no way to add activities directly from your Versa 4 or any Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hi Maria,

O

Are, I understand now. I tapped the Exercise 'App' on my Versa 4 as it has a tile with a list of Apps ... Exercise, Alexa, Google Maps, etc. and I call the thing on my wrist the Fitbit, so the Fitbit Exercise App I was reading as on the wrist device.

Now I see, it's the Fitbit App as in the Android phone Fitbit App and the Exercise entry on the Dashboard/ Today page on the phone. ... I can now see the "+" on the phone App.

It would have been helpful if the had mentioned the Exercise panel on the Fitbit phone App ... As the Versa 4 has Apps on the wrist device ... Which I suppose is called the Versa 4 and not a Fitbit.

Thank you for your patience, it would seem my issue was terminology.

Best regards,

Dave
