How do I set up alarms on Versa 4 so they repeat daily?

Is there a way to set alarms so they automatically repeat the next day.  I have to reset them every day.  On my Versa 2 they reset automatically.

Hi there, @Misty223. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and the details provided in your post about the alarms not repeating daily as they were on your Versa 2. I will be glad to help you!

As a first approach, please note that alarms you set in the Alarms app onn Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Versa 2, Fitbit Versa 3, and Fitbit Versa 4 are separate from alarms you set with your voice assistant. For more information on using your voice assistant to set alarms, see How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

Please confirm that you've set up your alarms correctly by following the steps below:

  1. On your device, open the Alarms app. You see your next scheduled alarms and the option to set a new alarm.
  2. Tap + New Alarm. Swipe up to see this option if you already created multiple alarms.
  3. Set the alarm:
    • Swipe up and down to set the alarm time. Tap am or pm. When you’re done, tap the time to set it. If you want to choose additional days when the alarm should alert you, tap the alarm to edit it further.
  4. Choose to turn on Smart Wake. When enabled, Smart Wake attempts to find the best time to wake you starting 30 minutes before the alarm time you set. It avoids waking you during deep sleep so you're more likely to wake up feeling refreshed. If Smart Wake can’t find the best time to wake you, your alarm alerts you at the set time.
    • Alarms that use the Smart Wake setting have a different icon than the other alarms on your device.
  5. Choose the days you want to be alerted.
  6. Save your alarm:
    • Swipe right to see your alarms.

Note that on Sense, Versa, Versa Lite Edition, Versa 2, and Versa 3, alarms won't go off if your device has less than 8% battery.

I tried tapping the alarm again to edit the days, but it just goes back to
the alarm list. I tried to set a new one and edit the days, but that did
not work either.  Now I have an extra alarm for the same time.  Is there a
way to delete alarms?  Is there a way to set an alarm in the fitbit app or
do you have to do it on the watch?
