How do I turn off always-on off on my Versa 4?

How do I get my versa screen to go back to blank screen when it’s in idle mode , it now for Some reason has the time displayed on the black screen all the time and I’m just conscious about it running my versa battery down too quick , I’m wondering if anyone knows how to put it back to when it’s sleeping it has a blank screen

Hi there, @Djdoc. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and the details provided in your post. 

It seems that your Versa 4 is on Always-On mode. To exit the always-on display and interact with your watch, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. 

To turn this feature off, please follow the steps below:

  1. Swipe down from the clock face to open your quick settings.
  2. Tap the always-on display icon.

Note: Always-on display automatically turns off when your watch's battery is critically low. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

On the other hand, if you want to enable sleep mode on your Versa 4, please see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
