Brand new to versa 4...I had my activity on HIKE within my hike there is several sets of stairs. My workout says that I did 93 floors....how many stairs are there in a floor? Where can I find that information

Hello @greenetea and welcome to the Community. All Fitbits that count "floors" do it the same way - a continuous 10 ft or 3 m rise in elevation.

ok great so then in order to get a stair count, I probably should ve put stair climber as my exercise right? Then that would ve registered the amount of stairs i m assuming

@greenetea no, Fitbit can't count stairs.

@greenetea Fitbits use a relative altimeter to measure an elevations change. You stair climber doesn't count floors because you stay at the same level -- you aren't going up. You 93 floors are the cumulative count of hiking uphill. That 10 ft change could be from a steep hill, a longer slow hill, or those steps on the stairs. It's the elevation, not the number of steps it took to go up.
There is no step height standard (rise) in a staircase.
