I've tried to find how to add a new device according to the instructions in the Versa 4 manual and online. The instructions don't match what I'm seeing at all. I don't see anything that says "add new device" anywhere.

@birbbirbbirb   This is the path you need:

  • Tap in the devices/battery percentage icon in the upper left of your iPhone app.
  • Tap on the Add more devices option near the bottom of the page.
  • Tap on Versa 4.  Since you can't have a Versa 2 and 4 on your account at the same time, tap on the Add Versa 4 at the bottom of the screen.  This will remove your Versa 2 from your account.  You don't need to remove it separately.
  • Continue with the rest of the setup.

When you are all done, remove your Versa 2 from the list of Bluetooth devices in your iPhone Bluetooth settings.

To clarify a few things, the gear icon you see in the upper right will become your profile picture after you migrate to a Google account.  Many of the paths changed when Fitbit redesigned the app.

Hi @birbbirbbirb  using the app on your phone is where you'd see it. You currently have a device paired to the app? You have Android or iOS?

Yes, I have a Versa 2 that was paired. I tried to remove it. I have an iPhone. There’s no profile picture of me in the upper right corner anymore since the overhaul of the look and feel, so that part of the instructions doesn’t make sense to me.
