Is Halifax supported on Versa 4

Hi,

I am having the same issue as everyone else with the Google Pay closing itself seems it's effecting all of us.

I tried adding my Halifax account to Google pay when first setting up my watch and it kept throwing errors when contacting the bank. I guess this isn't really Google Pay if Halifax isn't supported?? I have had to buy a Curve card for 4.99 and that has been accepted. Prior to this I tried adding my Santander account and it successfully wanted me to verify my account. Making me wonder is Halifax even supported by the Versa 4?? Why call it Google pay if it isn't Google pay, so far my experience with my first smartwatch has been awful.

Took me 4 hours and 6 resets to get the Google play app to stop closing and let me add this new Curve card onto into that I've setup. It's now letting me pay from my watch via Curve using my Halifax card which tbh is a joke I shouldn't have to third party a bank card just to use my Halifax account.. now I'm back to sq 1 with the app closing in Fitbit and can't add my Santander account.. not end of would but I hope they fix this bug sooner rather than never.

My main question is should Halifax be working on the Versa 4 without having to use curve? So far very poor experience with Fitbit regretting my purchase. Where is spotify also like WTF?

Hi @Mcfckyle91.

Here is a list of supported Google wallet banks for the Versa 4. Unfortunately it appears that Halifax isn't a supported bank.

Also the Versa 4 doesn't support 3rd party apps so unfortunately there isn't a Spotify app available (or even basic music controls).
