Is there a way to restore lost data?

Hello! I am having trouble with my fitbit. It has been working fine, but tonight noticed the time was inaccurate. I thought this was weird, because the time had been accurate all day. I tried disconnecting, forgetting the device, adding my fitbit as new... the only thing that worked was shutting it down. I noticed that my steps/data from yesterday are missing completely on my fitbit, iphone and dashboard online...I am extremely disappointed as I made a goal for myself to reach 10K steps per day this month and I like the idea of seeing my goal completed. is there any possible way to restore yesterday's data??? I have tried almost everything...

Hi there, @megan13fitness. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out.

What happened to you is an expected behavior. You should have synced your Versa 4 before unparing/disconnecting it from your Fitbit app and/or phone's Bluetooth.

Since there's no way to retrieve lost data, if you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, please see Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

Nevertheless, I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and they've already assisted you. If you still need help or have any questions/concerns regarding the outcome of your case, please feel free to contact our team back for further assistance.
