Is there a way to disable the always-on display on my watch when I’m not wearing it? I only wear the watch occasionally, and I’ve noticed that the battery lasts much longer when the display is off. I often forget to turn off the always-on display manually.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @eddie778!
You can easily toggle the AOD on and off by swiping down from the clock face to access Quick Settings and tapping the icon to the left in the bottom row.
