Log water intake from wrist on my Versa 4

Why on earth can't I log water intake from my device on my wrist? I want to be able to hit a button on my device every time I drink a glass of water and have it sync with the water intake feature directly on the Fitbit app. It would also be great if it could remind me to drink water throughout the day just like it reminds me to take steps. I would rather see my water intake progress on my watch face than anything else. It's just as, if not more important to me than how many steps I take in a day. This is a feature that people have been asking for for years. The water intake is already in the app, it can't be that hard to add this as a tile on the device. I got the new versa 4 and was hoping that this would be resolved by now since people have been asking for it for so long.
