My Fitbit Versa 4 is lost. Light Blue is able to connect with the device. I am trying to pinpoint its location. Typically, how far can Light Blue recognize a BT signal?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @MitchellR!
Thank you for posting and for letting us know about your lost Fitbit. I understand the importance for you to find your Versa 4 as soon as possible.
The best way to see if the device is nearby is by using your own phone and the app. Check the Fitbit and LightBlue Explorer apps to see the last time your device synced. If it synced recently, it's likely within range of your phone. Take your phone to the area where you think you lost your device and try to sync. If your device syncs, it's nearby.

Fitbit bluetooth range, which would be required for Light Blue to detect it, is up to about 30 ft, but can be reduced by any physical barriers, including walls and furniture.
