Over the past several months, I've begun to notice a marked decline in the accuracy of my FitBit Versa 4 in two areas: the GPS and the heart rate.
I run at least 5 times per week and have noticed that the GPS often fails to map my runs, or that it shortchanges my mileage on my habitual run routes.
I have also recently noticed that my heart rate registers absurdly high heart rates, even while I'm at minimum perceived effort. As an example, my Versa4 clocked my heart rate at 192 on an easy run. I'm 38 years old. Absolutely no way that was the case.
I have performed factory resets, syncs, updates, you name it to remedy these issues, but I'm not seeing the improvements that I would expect.
I have been a loyal FitBit user for 10 years and I'm seriously considering making a switch towards a better product. I feel like I can no longer trust the output from my device.

I have the same problem. I just thought it was a fluke! It seems to have more problems after the most recent firmware update!

I walk daily and my husband walks with me. He has the same versa 4 watch and his GPS is always more mileage than my watch. So frustrating. I recently did a 5k and of course my watch didn't calculate the 5k accurately. There is no way to really reset your GPS.
