Low battery notifications inquiry

I keep receiving notifications my battery is low at 35%, this is ridiculous. How can I change thus to something more sensible like 10%, there doesn't seem to be a way for me to control this? I used to get notifications at 25% and this was too high so I can't understand the increase to 35% at all.

Hi there, @JenSmith6. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Regarding your inquiry, I'm sorry, but there is no way to change the battery low notification to something below 35%. I can see your point of view and I understand why this might be helpful. As @LZeeW has pointed out,  all rechargeable batteries age, they deteriorate to some extent and an older device will need to be charged more often than a new one. The best way of minimizing this effect is to avoid deep discharges of the battery. To maximize the overall life of your Fitbit device's battery, ideally keep it between 20-80%.

Thanks for your feedback, though. I suggest you post your comments under the "product feedback" board (click here) so other members of the Community can comment and vote for it. This is the best way to make your voice heard. Our development team is constantly reviewing this board to improve our products in the direction our users suggest.

Thanks in advance!

@JenSmith6   Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan.  Using your battery to 10% is called a deep discharge.  Deep discharges decrease battery life.  You will actually prolong your Versa 4's battery lifespan by charging at 35%.
