After updating versa 4. Maps of my walks no longer show place names or mile markers. Looking back at past walks no indication of where they were. 3 weeks ago all walks showed places and mile markers. Before anyone says, yes GPS is on!

Hi there @FitbitPlayer36, welcome to the Fitbit Community.

Thanks for telling us about your experience and bringing up the maps problem.

Let me tell you that we have already escalated this to our support team, who are now actively looking into the issue and trying to come up with a workable solution. I sincerely hope you will be understanding and patient with us while we work to resolve this.

Thank you for looking into it! I came here to the forum with the exact same question - since new update, the maps have no street names, no towns, no place names - absolutely nothing. I don't have the slightest clue where any particular hike I did (a week or two ago) actually took place - it could be anywhere. And my runs are useless without me being able to retrace them later... because without place / street names, I can't really tell the route. Definitely needs a solution!!!

Yous are totally right I've done everything  unistalled an re installed  gone over to Google which is what I was told to still no maps it's pointless  when you can't see where you've been for walks or runs new update is rubbish needs sorting  an charge icon on app to see if what is charged

This still does not work, no street names places etc. What's the update on the support team looking into this? Ive had my versa 4 for just under a year, am thinking about returning it as its not fit for purpose, and they're still being advertised as being able to track routes walked or ran.

I am also fed up as fibit still doing nothing about the map situation I got my versa 4 for Christmas  was also wondering if I could return it as technically  is is faulty  as not doing a proper job I am considering  looking at other watches

With the recent fitbit software update, and particularly the missing street names in maps, i now consider my versa 3 to be nothing more than an overpriced pedometer. I can only hope that in time the street names in maps will be returned to the software.
