Messenger notifications are not coming through my Versa 4

New to Fitbit and I can’t figure out how to get my messenger notifications to show on my Fitbit. I have tried going into my Fitbit settings but there is no place with apps to select.

HI @ElizabethSwierk - you will find for your device, Notifications where the main options are selected and also App notifications, while this shows all apps on Android it is a bit special for iPhone. See

Have you tried what @Guy_ shared with you? Please note that since you're setting up your notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as an option in your Fitbit notification section. For example, tell someone to send you a WhatsApp/Messenger, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp/Messanger is already an option to be selected.

Thanks I did get it figured out. I had to click on the battery percentage which I had no clue was also a drop down menu. Everything I was seeing was telling me to click on the picture in the corner, which did take me to Fitbit settings but it was not the actual Versa settings.

@ElizabethSwierk- yes this is very confusing for users.

Google changed the layout for some unknown reason rendering all previous instructions and examples incorrect which leads to unnecessary confusion and is not nearly as logical as the Fitbit way was.

Well done for finally getting it working.
