Total miles/distance shown on watch is different on home screen versus "today's activities". Same # steps, different distance. Any thoughts?

@Ehiker Fitbit has a long-standing issue of confusing miles and kilometers. Is it possible that it is showing miles in one place and km in another? If so, there's not a fix for this. We've all been living with it for years.
