Music controls no longer available?

Shame on me for not realizing the Versa 4 no longer allows me to control music I’m listening to on my phone, but it did not show up in my research when I decided to switch from a Versa to Versa 4.
I love the lower profile of this watch and some of the newer features but did not think to look to see if FitBit would do away with such a basic feature as music control.  There is a previous forum where the FitBit moderator stated if it received enough votes they would bring it back.  But comments seem to to be turned off and I cannot find an update on development. This was one of the features I loved the most about my watch (which it’s too late to return or exchange for an Apple Watch or something else).  Will FitBit bring back this basic function that I and so many other users liked about the watch? Are there any developments on this front?
Music control was the function I used the most and the Versa 4 feels like a scam without it.
At the minimum it should note on the website that music control functions have been removed from this watch and they will not bring it back so other users who want to control music easily during a workout will know not to buy it.

Hi @Cmac7 - Fitbit is moving away from music support and no longer allow loading music to any watch and is not available to control phone music from this watch.

As it was removed it is highly unlikely to come back as that would change an existing decision.

The Versa 3 (and Versa 2) still can remotely change phone music as it has built-in controls.

Other brands can even load music on the watch and have long battery life.

Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.
