Good morning,
I am not a big programmer or anything, but I wanted to tinker around to try to make a clockface that has more information on it.
I'm seeing a lot of information about the Versa 4 (which I bought on a whim since I have recently started exercising. I saw it at a store and feel like I made a mistake because I didn't research enough) not being able to be customized with apps and what not.
I have been googling around to see if its possible to create my own clock face and came across the SDK for windows.
Before I waste my time entirely, would I be able to send a clock face to my Versa 4 that was made on the kit thing (I got the OS Simulator, but there is no versa 4 option in it)?
I am worried that I made a bad decision with this watch and don't want to because so far I enjoy having it. I don't really care that much about apps but I am surprised that there is such a limited amount of editing I can do on this thing.
Furthermore - is it expected that this watch will *never* be able to do more than it does? Or is there a reasonable plan/timeline in place for allowing more content over time. Some posts I have seen seem to imply that no, there will never be extra apps beyond what Fitbit provides.

@MoooseJuice simple answer is no. You won't be able to deploy to Versa 4 (and Sense 2) as they don't support thirdparty apps/clock faces.

Hi @MoooseJuice - If you are unhappy with the watch choice Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one.
No announcement has been made as to any changes coming or when, almost certainly not apps. If you chose a Versa 2 or 3 then you could have fun making your own clock faces and apps, see Fibit Studio which has a simulator so most of it can be done on a pc.
