New Versa 4 stuck at english

My new versa 4 is stuck on the scrolling directions. It is fully charged, the app downloaded to my phone and logged into. The device is connected and syncs.

The device is stuck on asking language, I answer English. Then it's stuck on the scrolling directions. The last line is "we are here to help" and the website address.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion.

It's now working.... I'll mention how.

I had been holding for 10 seconds and would get 1 logo screen. That kept it stuck in the same spot.

One time, probably in frustration, I held it longer, 12 seconds?, it flashed the logo about 20 times, then said it needed updating.

I removed it from the app, then paired it again. It automatically went into downloading updates to the device for about 10 minutes. Whew!

It's working as expected now.

Sad to hear that you're having issues setting up your Versa 4.
Please try if restarting your device will let you start all over. To do so, please hold your Versa 4's button for around 10 seconds until you'll hopefully see the Fitbit logo on it's display.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
