I bought a brand new Versa 4 and it is not charging, not going on. And when it does, it flashes, shows a red :cross_mark: and then that is the end. Nothing is working so, it’s a waste of my money.

Hi there, @Elise_Nghalipo. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your new Versa 4 is stuck on a red X and the Fitbit logo. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please do a manual factory reset: Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I have tried the suggestion many times but it did not help either.
What else can I try, because the suggestion above did not work, sadly.

I'm having the same issue on my 6 month old Versa 4 and also on another new one I bought as a Christmas gift. Both watches just started having an issue of temporary losing time. I'm guessing a bad update went out!

I did an update and every since the update it's been crap. It doesn't even turn on now and it's been charging all night.
