New firmware update doesn't appear on Versa 4

Hello everyone,

The new Versa 4 update released on July 23, 2024 didn't appear to me on the fitbit app. I've already restarted my device and phone with no luck. Does anyone has the same issue? In other words, how can someone download and install the new update if doesn't appear on the fitbit app?

@Mj30   It can take several weeks for an update like this to rollout to all Versa 4/Sense 2 users.  There is an update for the Inspire 3 rolling out, too.  Fitbit is always rolling out updates.  When someone buys a new Fitbit, it has the firmware from when it was manufactured.  They are in line for updates, too.

@Mj30 It's probably being rolled out to people in waves. You can check to see if your Fitbit app needs to be updated first, but otherwise you'll just have to wait for the rollout to reach you.

The update has just appeared for me. UK here. Quite miffed there is nothing about said update on the forums about was it's for. Maybe they fixed the brightness bug, we shall see 😕

My Versa 4 stopped syncing with my phone two days ago. I have changed both fully but that has not helped. Any help appreciated.

@kjdh   Please try the recommended troubleshooting steps in this Help article.  If this doesn't help you, please start a new thread in this forum and tell us whether you use an Android or iPhone.  Your issue is off topic and it will be hard for you to get the help you need.
