No notifications are not coming through my Versa 4

I just got a brand new Versa 4, set it up, allowed all permissions etc. but none of the notifications I get on my phone are showing on the watch.

I have check and no, it is not on sleep mode, or do not disturb. I've reset it once and retried the connection but they still don't come through.

I think it may have something to do with Bluetooth as when I look in my Bluetooth the watch doesn't display as connected. 

Does anyone know how to fix this? Notifications were one of the perks that made me choose this model...

Hi there, @idkthemusic. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your new Versa 4 is not receiving notifications. I understand where your concern is coming from. We're here to help you! 

Did you already set up all app notifications you desire to receive notifications from? Since you're setting up notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as an option in your Fitbit notification section. For example, tell someone to send a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected. 

As @Guy_ has suggested, please verify that you've set up your notifications as described in that help article.
