I had a Versa3...worked well for under 2 years then suddenly wouldn't sync. Spent hours trying to resolve problem but nothing. Decided it was kaput so just bought a Versa4. Same problem. I now have 2 unusable Fitbits 😡. I have looked at everything on line but unable to find a contact (:-(

Same here but with an Ace 2 and Ace 3. Neither the old or brand new product will sync. Hopeless app. I raised a ticket with support two weeks ago and no progress has been made.

Hi. It now says to update App but there's no way to do this. Also to have
Android 10 or plus. I have Android 10. I have tried to contact Fitbit
through 3 different email addresses...."address not found"! The pink
message which appeared above Fitbit community saying they were looking into
syncing problems has now disappeared. So so disappointing (:-(. App still
does not appear in Bluetooth. All I get told is that I need the App! Grrrr!

The latest update came out today and it fixed syncing on both my devices! Version 4.29 on Android 14.

Hi. Many thanks for this. Pleased you're sorted. The update has come up for
me and Versa4 appeared in my bluetooth. However, my watch still won't
recognise my App (:-(. It says it's connecting but doesn't. This morning
Versa4 has disappeared from my bluetooth. 😡.

I am defeated (:-(. Might try Samsung. Waste of 2 fitbits and 5 straps and
2 protectors...hey ho. Thanks for your help. 👍🏻

Hi there @Sophrentie and @Jimmyroz! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for reporting this situation and for all your efforts!

@Jimmyroz Thanks for the update. I'm glad to know that your devices are syncing normally again!

@Sophrentie Please try to do the following:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Restart your Versa 4. See How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Turn your phone off and back on.
  4. Remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet:
    1. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
    2. Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    3. Find the option to forget the device.
  5. Try setting up your device again. How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hi, Fatima, thanks for your response. I have followed your instructions but
the Versa4 always comes up under Available devices as apposed to Paired
devices. When I get back, after your instructions, to bluetooth this is
still the case. The only icon is to the left of Versa4.... nothing to the
right which would let me unpair. Pressing this just gives me the "An App
is needed to use this device" which I have and am logged into.

Sorry I realise now I hadn't mentioned that it comes up under 'Available'
devices' before as I didn't twig that (:-(. This was not the case before
all these problems.

Thanks again

Hi @Sophrentie! Thank you so much for your answer and for all your efforts.

Could you please check in the Play Store if you can update the Fitbit app?

  1. Open the Google Play Store app .
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device. Manage.
  4. Tap the app you want to update. Tip: Apps with an update available are labeled "Update available."
  5. Tap Update.

Hi. No, it hasn't worked (:-(. I get to a point where it asks to put in a
code from my device but my device won't recognise my App and i just get the
logo . My phone is a Samsung J6 with Android 10. My Fitbit was OK for a
year plus before this latest problem.
Thanks
