Hello, I've found several other people ask this same question. I had the Versa 3 and I keep the screen off unless I press the button. However with the Versa 3 notifications would always show up. I liked this feature as I could be in the middle of a conversation and just glance at my watch to see if it was an important notification. Now I have to press the button every time. I understand that this is how it's implemented on the Versa 4.
My question is how do I request that they add a feature to always show notifications in the next firmware update? This was already implemented on older Versa watches so it should be an easy option to add and judging from other questions people have posed I'm not the only one who wants the feature.
Thanks.

Hi @DatsWassup - the software on the Versa 4 is different and many features that existed before have been removed [or not implemented].
Notification display is not ideal and it is possible that the resources available to Fitbit have been reduced so that adding of features seems rather unlikely but you can add your vote in the Product Feedback forum.
However the only thing you can do is ensure when you pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings that all icons are off. When the watch vibrates for a notification, raise your wrist as if to look at the time, the notification may appear.
It may also help to lengthen the Display timeout in the watch settings.
Also to ensure the watch is working optimally hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start again.

Hi @Guy_, thanks for the reply. I was unaware of the feedback forum you mentioned and your reply made me realize something. I returned the Sense 2 because I thought this was an issue with that software and that the Versa 4 would work just like the Versa 3. I've been spending so much time trying to get this watch to behave like my old one when the easiest thing for me to do is to return this watch and buy a Versa 3. I save some money and get the behavior I expect. There's nothing about the Versa 4 that I need and instead of them waiting to maybe implement a feature I can solve the problem myself with a downgrade.
Thanks again.

Thanks! @DatsWassup - that does seem like the best solution, and you can use all your favourite apps and clocks too, as well as saving money and enjoying a better interface.
