Notifications won't vibrate on my Versa 4

I’m paying for Premium for my Versa 4 but have not been able to have my watch do some of the things it’s supposed to do. It never vibrates when a text arrives or a phone call comes in. I see messages days later so fortunately I can view texts on my phone. But I don’t always have my phone like out doing my yard work. Then it never tells me the weather on the watch or my sleep so I always have to access my phone or iPad app to see these results. In many ways I liked my Versa 3 better.

Not fixing your problems,  but those issues have nothing to do with Premium.  They should be available with or without Premium.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

This is an update. I was able to have a chat with a very nice man from Fitbit. He was patient and allowed as much time as it took for me to solve each issue I was having problems with. It had nothing to do with Premium but since my watch was new and I am only signed up for the trial period I thought possibly they were together. I’m so confused happy to say my Versa 4 is finally doing everything I had hoped it could do when I swapped it out from my Versa.

What was the resolution, because I just went from Versa to Versa 4 too, and my watch is not notifying me of texts or calls either?

Hi there, @Deb2023. Welcome on board!

Have you removed your old Versa from your phone's Bluetooth settings? If you haven't done so yet, please follow the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa and Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

If the issue persists after trying the steps above, please see Why are notifications delayed or missing?

I’ll try to remember see if this works but if not try chatting on line
with a rep. It took a couple of tries for mine to work but it works great
now.

1. Log in to your Fitbit
2. In the upper left corner ( I have my picture) there is a circle tap on
it.
3. Scroll down to Versa 4 and tap it.
4. The next screen should show your watch and other info like gallery, How
to etc. click on notifications turn on call, text messages and calendar
events.
5. Then sync either by pulling down or using the sync button. It took a
couple of tries because I also asked for help to get the weather to appear.
So hoping this works for you.

I'm so frustrated. I think I did everything you said. Still no notifications to watch? I have an Android phone...fyi.

I did notice when I try to check the weather on watch, it states to check bluetooth and Give weather access permission on your phone?

Help,
Debbie

Go to customer support they were very patient and it wasn’t anything to do
with premium. The Fitbit 4 is supposed to receive text vibrations and texts
as well as vibrate with incoming calls. I also couldn’t access the weather
and was helped getting that to function on my new watch.
