Hi all, I’ve just recently upgraded from a Versa 2 to a Versa 4 , and 2 things are not working properly.
1. I’ve done all the necessary to connect and sync my iPhone 11 to my Versa 4 including all the necessary permissions but my Fitbit app or Versa 4 watch doesn’t see it, even though it says it’s connected in the app.
2. I’ve set up my wrists call and paired it with my iPhone 11 twice now and it works for 1call and then disconnects itself.
when I try to reconnect it it it says connection unsuccessful turn on Bluetooth ? It’s on ?
in help it says delete the wrist calls from Bluetooth and search and install it again.
when I do this it doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth search engine ?
getting fed up with this £179 versa 4 already , and I haven’t been swimming with it yet.
any advise or help would be much appreciated.
Tim O’Connell.

Hi there, @TigerTim1959. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Communtiy Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the on-wrist calls are still not working on your Versa 4. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
In addition to the steps you've tried, I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed even if some of them you've tried already:
- Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
- Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
- Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
- Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
- Set up your Fitbit device.
- If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
- Set up the on-wrist calls notifications once again.
- Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
Nevertheless, please keep in mind that the Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect.

@TigerTim1959 You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that the steps provided did the trick.
Regarding the calendar notifications, keep in mind that your Fitbit device shows notifications from all calendars synced to your default Calendar app.
To see notifications from your phone on your Fitbit device, your phone must receive phone, text, calendar, and app notifications.
- On your phone, tap Settings > Notifications.
- Make sure Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.
- Verify the settings for Calendar app sends notifications:
- Allow Notifications—On
- Tap each notification type and verify the settings:
- Alerts > Notification Center—On
- Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

Just wondering if you have any other idea regarding the Calendar syncing issues I’m having?/ I want to upload pictures of all my calendars settings in my iPhone and the Fitbit App. to show you all should be correct, but I don’t see any options to do that here ?

I had to reset factory defaults on my Versa 4 and completely go through setup again. It seems to be working at the moment
