On-wrist calls aren't working on my Versa 4

I have tried all the trouble shooting steps in other threads, unpairing, removing all other Bluetooth connections, logging out of fitbit app, force stopping app, clearing cache, restarting versa by holding button 10 sec, making sure no other devices are listed in fitbit app, restarting phone, turning phone bluetooth on and off, deletint versa 4 from fitbit app and setting up again from scratch. It still wont connect for versa calls. Its brand new, pairs fine to phone but in the on-wrist calls tab in app, i got a green checkmark for paired to phone, green checkmark for permissions(disabled and re-enabled to be sure), pair bluetooth for calls shows the passkey on watch and on phone shows correct passkey, yet it fails to connect.

Hi @CGaulin - Versa 4 calls won't stay connected in Bluetooth, it is only used in connected mode when there is a call.

Also check in watch Settings that calls are on.

How do I take on-wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch?

Hi there, @CGaulin. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 Controls are still not connecting. We're here to help!

As a first approach, please keep in mind what @Guy_ has mentioned as Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect.

In addition to what you've tried, please try the following:

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove Versa 4 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

I cant even get past the setup, all permissions are enabled, all settings are turned on, wont connect versa calls to finish the setup. I also had a test text message sent. I could read the message but it would not send a message back. So calls do not work at all, and texts only half work.

I have unfortunately already tried those steps previously. I cant get past the initial setup connection. All firmware and app are updated. I can receive texts but not able to send replies. On-wrist call setup fails to connect via bluetooth(the 3rd setup step).

Chat support forwarded my issues higher up, chat log explained every trouble shooting step I had taken, they told me to keep an eye out for an email. Email posted trouble shooting steps that I already did and explained it didn't fix the issue.. it has now been 24 hours after I replied to the email that I had already taken those steps and issue persists. Sounds like I'm going to have to wait days each reply.

Support, just advised me to download the 4.13 update for the fitbit app which took a few days to become available. Same issue after updating and trying all trouble shooting steps again. No fix in sight.
