On-wrist calls aren't working on my Versa 4

I am unable to use call features on my Versa 4 watch,. I get notifications but once I answer, it says BT not connected.  On my BT setting the versa voice call options doesn't pop up...jus versa 4. I did restart both devices  (iPhone 14 Pro/ versa 4) making sure they are both updated. I don't see the "on wrist call" tab on my watch but just on the Fitbit app, which shows paired. I am not sure what to do next.

Hi there, @Tanvy. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the on-wrist calls on your Versa 4 aren't working. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the on-wrist calls are still not working on your Versa 4. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've tried, I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed even if some of them you've tried already:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Set up the on-wrist calls notifications once again.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Nevertheless, please keep in mind that the Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect.
