I received a Versa 4 as a gift for Christmas.   My fitbit will not stayed paired to my bluetooth on phone.

My phone is an android samsong 22.   I have tried all of the suggestions and possible fixes , but they do not work.   Call will show up on fitbit as ringing, but when you answer , it will not connect .

Very frustrating!

Hi there, @deere57. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

While reading your post I was wondering if you had another Fitbit device prior your Versa 4? If so, it seems that your Fitbit device cannot connect properly to your Fitbit app since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your old Fitbit device and the phone's Bluetooth which would explain the connectivity issues you're running into. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your new Fitbit device and old one from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your new Fitbit device again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.

Nevertheless, please note that Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

If you continue having issues with the on-wrist call notifications, please try the following:

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove Versa 4 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
