Battery dead right after lame 1yr warranty ended. I can pay $20 for an aftermarket battery but why should I. I'd be enabling a product that is obviously poorly engineered and, evidently, on its way out anyway. It's also a relatively complicated fix. And, given the thousands of complaints and unusually high number of failed units, it's unclear whether some other issue wouldn't pop up right after repairing it.
