Quick replies aren't working on my Versa 4

My new Versa 4 will show notifications from Messenger, but will not allow me reply to these messages. The watch says "message on it's way," but it never goes through. I can reply to messages on WhatsApp or Google Messages, but not though Facebook Messenger. I have allowed all permissions on Messenger and on the watch. I have done a factory reset. I have a Pixel 6.

I had contacted Support before posting and was told I'd hear back from the team in a few hours. They said "We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon." And then, "If you have any other questions about your Fitbit device or services, visit Help.Fitbit.com," which is why I posted. I don't yet have a solution for either issue I'm having.
