My versa 4 keeps flashing with the Fitbit logo, then I get a red X. I have tried to restart my Fitbit but still getting the red X.

Good to see you participating in the community @Lmcuk.

Thank you for providing the details about the situation that you are experiencing with your Versa 4,

Please take a look at the following steps:

  1. Sync in the Fitbit app: From the Today tab, tap the Devices icon (upper left corner) > Your Versa 4 > Sync (the upper right corner).
  2. If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner, tap the Devices icon > Versa 4 > Gallery. The app should show a pop up to install the missing apps and recover the device.
  3. Restart your device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I was looking for answer because I faced the same thing for my versa 4. I have found the solution. Apparently, I learnt that it’s a factory reset mode and I followed this video step by step and I managed to go back to normal : Get out of Factory Reset mode
