With this Quick Setting on the watch it means "Button only" which is the opposite of how it is on previous watches.

 

A good way to confuse customers!

 

The icon in the manual is different from watch icon, just slightly, but you might never notice the subtle difference.

 

Here is the Sense Quick Settings with Wrist Wake" enable for comparison.
