Hello @Goldfogle and welcome to the Community. The touch screen is very sensitive and it's possible to make changes without realizing it. Please try the following and see if it helps. Please swipe down on your screen to go to your Quick Settings. The bottom center icon (looks like a watch) controls your screen wake. If it is bright teal, tap it to change the setting back to wrist and button.

I agree with @LZeeW. Please go to your quick settings and check if the screen wake has been accidentally turned off. To do so, swipe down from the clock face on your watch to access the quick settings. Here you can change whether the screen turns on when you turn your wrist. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Please let's try to check this setting one more time by swipe down from the clock screen. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
