Silent alarms aren't working properly on my Versa 4

The alarms in my Versa 4 have not been working. What can I do to fix the problem?

Basically nothing - you will spend ages with 'support' who will make you eventually do a factory reset - they know this will have no bearing whatsoever but it's what they do for every problem - translated it means 'don't know and don't care'

You then have to go away and wait for it to fail to go off again, which it definitely will.

You then make contact again and go though the same rigmarole - they will ask you to reset etc, which will have no effect. You will explain this with some frustration and they will ignore everything you say and repeat the same 'troubleshooting steps' (i.e re-set and wipe all your data). You will know this won't do anything, they will know the same but it's their only solution.

Eventually, they will tell you they will escalate to a mythical 'higher team' - they may nor may not contact you by email (are you feeling lucky?)

The 'higher team' will advise you to try to re-set the device - by this stage, they know you have been asked to do this many times, it has not and never had any realistic chance of making a difference and that it wouldn't make a difference if it did as you could have no confidence in the alarm

Therefore, you only have two choices - spice up your life by keeping Fitbit and playing alarm roulette - will you be up on time or will you be late and lose your job/miss your appointment/leave you kids stranded (it's a really exciting way to live); or

By a proper device from Garmin or Apple and avoid fitbit like the shonky bit of badly made tat it is

Thanks @BoredWaiting  for a complete synopsis and advice.

@DM73 - did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

A Versa 3 has features not found on the Versa 4 and alarms which work and is actually cheaper in the shops or online in some places.
