Step tracker doing odd things

Odd thing happening with my Versa 4. The step counter is crazy, Got my 6K step looked at my watch a few minutes later it read 11k steps, then a few minutes later it read 5.5k steps.   Phone read 7K I restarted the fitbit and the phone, it was reading 15k steps, walk up a flight of stairs it now reads 13k steps.  I would say my fitbit is having issues, but my wife's sence2 is doing the exact same thing.  Was there an app update?  the devices have two different firmware.   Only thing common is the phone app.  This is strange. I have lost 4k steps while typing this.

Hi @DYngbld  - it does seem strange but first check steps on your watch by a swipe left to see the watch value and if necessary try changing clock face.

Also in the Fitbit App, Device/account (Connected to) page, make sure the phone is not connected to your account so it doesn't count steps too.
