Steps remaining in the hour on Versa 4

I just got my Versa 4 last Saturday (I had the 3, and the 2 prior) and can’t figure out how to see how many steps I have remaining in the hour. On the Versa 2, it was a built in function, then on the Versa 3, it had to be added manually. Can anyone tell me how to add this for the Versa 4? All I see is whether or not I’ve reached 250 steps (it will show how many hours I have completed the goal). Thanks.

The number of steps remaining to get to 250 steps for the hour only shows up in the last 10 minutes of the hour. You will get a reminder at 50 minutes past the hour if you have not done at least 250 steps within the hour and it will tell you how many more you need to put in to get your "dot" for the hour. As you walk in the last 10 minutes to get to the 250, you will also see a countdown of how many more you need to get to 250, and when you get to 250 you will see your "ring" being completed - After that the display will change to show how many hours of activity you have put in for the day.

Thanks. I haven’t noticed the countdown you’re referring to. I have seen the alert of how many steps are remaining (if under 250), which is the same as how it has always been. Where is this “countdown?”

I personally use a paid clock face that I love, Arrows by Lignite, that lets me customize the stats on my watch face and one of the stats that I have on my custom watch face is the "Steps this hour" which shows me however many steps I have walked/run in the given hour whether it is 20, 200 or 2000 or anything else in between. See the second/orange arrow in the picture below where it shows I did 303 steps between 1 pm and 2 pm today.

To see the countdown you will have to be between the 50th and 59th minute of some hour where you have walked less than 250 steps in that hour 😉!

That’s cool! I actually found the “countdown” the next hour when I got the alert that I had some steps remaining that hour. Thanks
