Stopped getting email notifications on my Versa 4 when moved to Google

I no longer get notifications of my emails on my versa 4. This happened when I moved my fitbit account via Google. I get notifications from my Gmail account but nothing from my email  Aol.com

Hello there, @mintomunro. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you stopped getting your email notifications on your Versa 4 after migrating to Google. I'll be glad to help you with this!

Since all other notifications seems to be working fine, please see Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones and/or Why are notifications delayed or missing? depending on your phone. I'd also suggest restoring notifications between your Versa4/Fitbit app and Aol.com, basically, setting them up again.

Sorry I do not provide more personalized steps but I don't know which mobile phone you're using. Any other detail you can provide, would be very helpful.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi

I have a Samsung S21. I have tried what you suggest and I still don't get my AOL emails. I want to sign in with Fitbit instead of Google as it worked perfectly. The problem is I have forgotten my fitbit password and when I click on the link to reset it nothing works. I think this is all a ploy by Google to use their email and not mine. Can you help with my reset?

Hi @mintomunro - once you switch to the Google account you can't go back. However, the setup may have changed and you need to review the setup of the Device Notifications (and App notifications) to elect to receive notifications from both your accounts.
