Stress Management section of Today tile shows "Grant permissions in mobile app"

When I open the "Today's Activity" tile on my Versa 4 and tap it to open the Today data, the "Stress mgmt score" shows "Grant permissions in mobile app".

I've searched the mobile app for where to set these permissions but can't find anything specific for Stress Management. All of the permissions for all the apps I have loaded are already granted.

On the Stress Management section of the Fitbit mobile app I am getting a score. So why isn't this showing up on my actual device?

Hi @Mike2017. I am experiencing this also. I’m trying to find a fix. I’ll let you know if I find out anything.

You may try to withdraw consent first (in the app, Stress Management, tap a cog to open settings screen, withdraw consent) and the app should ask you to set it up again. Not sure whether this would work but worth a shot.

@t.parker I'm on iOS, there is no cog in the stress management part of the app to open any settings. I did try deleting the stress management tile and adding it back in. There was no option to withdraw consent anywhere and it asked me to log a reflection in the app. I forced a sync with my Versa 4 to see if maybe the stress tile in the today section of the device would update and it would not. It still says to grant permissions in the app. 😕

@Heather-S I use Android so can't help you with that. I'm curious whether it is somehow connected to the mobile platform. I haven't had such issue on my Sense 2 (which is pretty much the same thing as Versa 4). This is what it looks like on Android:

Could be there is another way to get to the settings screen on iOS? 🤨

@t.parker This is all I see. Where you have your little cog, I only have a + key to log any reflections. I have looked everywhere I can think of in the app and I don’t have that second screen that you do.

@Heather-S yet another difference between versions of app. I guess there is nothing hidden if you scroll to the bottom. Best probably to ask another iOS user. Interesting 🤔

I use iOS, am wearing a Sense 2, and when I tap on my Stress Management tile, I see a screen similar to @t.parker . @Heather-S ‘s screenshot looks like the view with my Versa 3. My Stress Management Score is showing on the screen.  I don’t know what this adds to the conversation, but I just wanted to add my experience.

In the grant permission section I just clicked on all and it seems to be working however I don’t have any explanations for the resulting score number. My stress level should peak while dealing with the versa 4 set up. Lol

@SunsetRunner Sorry, I have no update. I submitted this as a bug report in December 2022 and I believe it is still being "investigated".

Nope.. not yet.

I noticed an update for my Versa 4 yesterday, and installed it, and now it’s working.

What version are you currently running? The update normally shows up on this screen if one is available. I’m running 20001.194.61

After receiving the red banner to install the update, it repeatedly failed over a period of 2 days on my Google Pixel/Versa4. I contacted technical support where I was told that the update is not quite ready for all devices and that I could expect to see the red banner again in a week or so. They further explained that all of the issues that I see posted here, like the transcription error as well as the stress management issue, will be resolved with the update. I am glad to see that you have it and that the issues have been resolved. I'm looking forward to the same resolution. Thanks for posting 👍🏻

us iOS/iPhone users don’t have the transcription capabilities like Android’s do, so I don’t know much there. Best of luck!
