Hello, I’m contacting you about my Fitbit Versa 4.
The device suddenly powered off while it was charging (battery was around 97%) and it has not turned back on since. It does not respond to any button press, does not vibrate, and shows no signs of life when connected to the charger.
I have already tried troubleshooting:
- Forced restart (holding the button for over 30 seconds)
- Using different chargers and USB ports
- Cleaning the charging contacts
Nothing has worked, and the device appears completely unresponsive

Hi @JesseDelgrez - that sounds like a serious unrepairable watch fault. If it also gets hot while on the charger it is definitely damaged, possibly from moisture getting in.

Hi @JesseDelgrez and @Guy_, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I'm glad to help you with your Versa 4 that is unresponsive after being almost fully charged. Thank you for the troubleshooting you have already tried. @Guy_ Thanks for your help!
It seems you've already followed the steps suggested in our help article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
If your device was at 97% and suddenly stopped working, a restart should be enough to bring it back to life. If that doesn't work, check if the device is still syncing to the Fitbit app (see How do I manually sync my tracker or watch?). If it is, try to change the clock face as it may be related just to the screen that is not turning on but the device is still working.
