My child received a gift of a Versa 4 at Christmas. She was aged 13 at the time. We set up a Google account for her under Family Link, with me as her supervising adult. The Versa 4 worked fine, syncing to her iPhone Fitbit app. That was until two days ago when the Versa 4 stopped connecting to the iPhone and stopped syncing to the app. In the app there is no longer an option to add a Versa 4 under the "add new device" function. It only gives the options of the various Ace devices, which are designed for small kids. It seems that Google/Fitbit has decided that my daughter, now aged 14, is not old enough to have access to the Versa 4, even though she previously did when she was 13. I'm assuming Google now thinks she needs to be 16, not 13, in order to have her own Google account, as we live in Ireland. But I cannot understand why this has changed over night, with not warning. I can't remove her from Family Link because there is no option to do so without deleting her Google account. I have also tried all sorts of other ways to try to fix it, but it seems there is no longer any apparent way for her to continue accessing her Versa 4 through her iPhone, while signed into the Fitbit app using her own Google account. Any suggestions?
