I just upgraded from the Galaxy S10 to the Galaxy 24 plus. I unpaired from my old phone and paired with my new phone, and all of my stats come through, phone calls come through, but text messages will not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, I have unpaired from my new phone and re-paired. Nothing seems to work to get the messages to come through to my watch and yes, I have gone in and approved notifications, followed all of the help provided in these message boards.

I'm having the same issue. It started about 3 weeks ago. No phone call or text notifications.

Hi there, @Jaweaser @JamminJo. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that you both are not getting notifications on your Versa 4. I appreciate the time you guys took in order to solve the issue. I understand where your concerns are coming from, I will do my best to help you sort this out!
As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your Versa 4 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

The watch is not in sleep mode and as I stated, I have already tried the remedies in the message boards. Also, the iPhone article you posted is not helpful as I am on a Samsung. I also tapped the top left corner where the battery status is and confirmed my phone is showing as a linked device. When I look at the connected devices on my Bluetooth, the Versa is there but I believe on my old phone it said connected for calls and messages. It doesn't say that now despite me unpairing, uninstalling the app and starting over.

Ok, I fixed it.
Apparently, there are two different places in the fitbit app to allow notifications and they do not talk to each other.
First, if you select your picture you will get a drop down menu, select fitbit settings.
go to notifications here and make sure they are all allowed.
Now, part 2, go back to your main screen in the app and tap the top left corner that shows your battery status.
you should see your connected devices. Now, tap the versa 4 and you will see another window with notification permissions as an option.
Select notifications and you will see and/or be prompted to allow notifications.
Turn on the ones you want and you are good to go.
no idea why there are two settings or why they don't talk to each other but it fixed the problem for me.
Good luck everyone

Thank you so much!! This app is NOT user friendly and I was getting frustrated trying to sync my phone and Versa 4.
