So today I learned that the Fitbit versa four can withstand charging in vinegar.
The way I learn this in case you’re wondering is, I had my Fitbit charging and my bird knocked it into a fruit flytrap I had set up. The fruit fly trap was all white vinegar and a tiny bit of water and the versa is just fine. It also cleaned it pretty well so if you guys are having gross bands, you can use vinagar.
Also, the only reason I’m even posting about this is because there was no answers about this online probably because no one has ever had this happen to them. But yeah, the versa is way more resistant than I expected.

Hi @cory6 what an interesting story and you told it well. Your Versa 4 came out of this misadventure fine, but what about your bird? I can imagine there were a few ruffled feathers when it was all over. I use rubbing alcohol to clean my band, but never with the assistance of a bird!
