Hi @FitbitRuner46 - probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the Android app forum along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time.

Please be aware that we are considering each and every feedback. We recently published an article with some of the changes that will shortly be put into place. I want to encourage you to continue providing us with feedback and suggestions. As you can see, there is always a possibility that things will change.
