Time in heartzones do not add up to total exercise time

Hi!

Anyone who can explain to me what is going on here?

I ran in total 28 minutes yesterday, but if you add up the total time in heart rate zones, it adds up to 44? What am I missing? IMG_4037.jpeg

Time in aerobic and peak zones counts double. Click on Zone Minutes circle on phone app and it shows that.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi again

I actually think it’s either an error or new behaviour I don’t understand. I looked at an older workout, and there the ‘time in heart rate zone’ minutes add up to being the total workout time. In my example here from July: both add up to 83 minutes.

So the question is: is this an error registration new behaviour?

You will have to explain exactly what view you are looking at.  Step by step, exactly how did you get that screen view.  It's hard for me to read all the details on that screen.  I'm not sure but possibly the 28 minutes was one run workout and the 44 was daily zone minutes total, but have to understand what view you are looking at to totally understand.

There are many views of the exercise data; we each get used to one view of the data and get used to thinking that is the "standard" view that everyone is familiar with.

@JohnnyRow it's simple:

Zone minutes are irrelevant here. Normally, the time in zones (not zone minutes) add up. I checked for my activities, always adds up. On this screen it doesn't. Looks like a bug.

@yeempie what version of the app do you use? Is it one time only issue or it happened multiple times? I haven't observed similar behaviour but recently new version of the app has been released and I haven't get that update yet so can't tell whether it's a new bug introduced with the new version.

@Triletics I’m on version 3.87, haven’t updated in a while (not sure what the newest version is on).

It’s the first time I see it, so I think it’s a on off bug too. Thx for checking yours!
