All the benefits, added values ​​and differentiators that made Fitbit a better option vs Apple Watch and other smart watches were lost since Google bought the company. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED OF THE VERSA 4

Hi @Barbaandy - your observation is understandable, the new App is no longer the best and the Versa 4 doesn't have some of the features found on the Versa 3.

It is true a.lot of features have been removed since the take over and some aren't even working properly anymore in the new app.

You can see posts in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums from other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version (requiring reworking) to anywhere near how the previous version was.
