In the last month I’ve upgraded from a versa lite to a versa 4 and apparently I’m now incredibly fit. I’m a very active person but for some reason I can’t get my heart rate into my active zones. I’ll do a workout where I’m sweating and can feel my heart but barely any zone minutes. When I had my versa lite it all seemed fine and I’d get loads of active zone minutes in a week but now it’s barely getting to the 150 goal Fitbit suggest. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions, I’ve tried adjusting the strap and changing the placement on my wrist but it’s not consistently working. I also walk to and from work and I’m now walking faster to get my heart rate up but it doesn’t always auto recognise that I’m walking or it won’t log it in my daily exercise, I could really use some advice as I’m regretting this purchase.

Same here. Noticed today that on a walk it recorded my heart rate as under which it normal is always in fat burn and at 120 at least on a casual walk, and just jumped on the rebounder to test it for ten minutes and it says my heart rate is 80!! IT is usually at 140 to 160 when i go full tilt . I have done the same as you , and turned it off and on again but no difference. I also noticed yesterday that it didn't automatically log swimming

It’s incredibly frustrating as I’ve gone from being able to get 150 zones minutes in a day to 8, if anything I’m working even harder now as I’m so aware of it. So either the versa lite heart rate was completely wrong or this is?!
When I spoke to Fitbit I was told to maybe not rest when I walk or exercise, it’s my heart rate that won’t even rise that’s the problem.
Any clue how to sort the automatically logging exercises? I’ve never had so much trouble with a Fitbit!!!

I contacted them via twitter and they generated a case and got a reply to do a hard reset and then re pair the versa ( remember to disconnect from bluetooth as well. I forgot so couldn't get it to pair at first )
Did that this morning so will see if that helps
You could try that ,as I guess it will be the same info they give you as they gave me. Will let you know after today if it worked for me

Update Just ran a test on the rebounder wearing the versa and a friend's fitbit for comparison and after 7 minutes my versa said my HR was 102bpm, average 98 whilst the one on my other wrist said it was 149 bpm! So I think we can safely say that there is an error with the devices we have

Indeed. I only bought this on the 4th of November as my Versa 3 died, but having read quite a lot now, it does seem that this Versa does have this problem. Really fed up 😞 Will see what they reply but feel like I should go back to a Versa 3 , or even try something else, if this is a design fault with this

I completely understand, I bought mine as I wanted to upgrade, should of left it as my versa lite was fine. Just fancied an upgrade cos of the fitness aspect the four claimed to better for.
