Recieved the VERSA 4 for Xmas… very happy or so I thought… since the day I started to set it up I’ve had nothing but issues. 

it won’t allow messages to be be show 

I can’t recieve calls

i can see maps 

 

I’ve been in constant contact with customer services who keep sending me in a loop hole of try this try that always suggesting the same thing the previous agent has suggested … delete app/ reset VERSA/ ensure all notifications are allowed. 

not had these issues with my VERSA 2 

now been told to take back to shop…. It was a gift and I have no receipt … 

 

my question is had anyone had else these issue and have they been resolved??

I received my Versa 4 to replace my Versa 2 Christmas of 2022, and had these same exact issues. I went through exactly what your dealing with when it comes to customer service, and I ended up getting too frustrated and just let the battery on my watch die. A few weeks later I decided to try again, going through the setup steps and it worked…for a few months. I still cannot receive calls on my watch, I still only get random messages and notifications when it feels like it, and honestly I like my versa 2 better… it had more functions and features than the newer one. I regret not asking for an iWatch to be honest. I know this might not be much help and I wish you much luck!

Hi @Deby24 @krazykats77 - assuming you pulled down on the watch face and turned off all the icons, and setup notifications etc properly, one of the bugs in the new V4 Fitbit App is it loses connection with the watch and in that case the watch becomes a stand alone device so you will no longer get calls or notifications.

Try toggling Bluetooth off/on and restarting the watch and even the phone to get connected but it may be only a temporary solution.
