Versa 4 - Battery draining

My Fitbit versa 4 is draining so fast. I've had it for quite some time. I read somewhere else that I should turn off the Bluetooth at night, will I still be able to get sleep data, if I turn it on in the morning?

Any recommendations of what to do to help it not drain so fast besides changing the clock face which I already did years ago.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here @wukanru1!

I appreciate the information that you've shared about the battery draining situation that you've been having with your Versa 4.

If you haven't done so already, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to improve battery life in general, as this has been generally useful for other users.

The battery can last up to 7 days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary, but the battery shouldn't be draining only after a few hours.

I'll be around.

Hello, I'm writing to report the same issue. My Fitbit Versa 4 has been working perfectly since I got it in 2023, with a reliable battery life of 3-4 days. Despite no changes to my settings and having the app updated, the battery has been draining dramatically over the past two weeks, now not even lasting a full day. It's extremely annoying and inconvenient, as the device is now shutting down unexpectedly during workouts or in the middle of the night, making me feel like I can't trust it.

What's more, I'm not even receiving low battery warnings—it just turns off without any notice. The steps provided in the linked article are vague, and I'm frustrated that I have to search through forums for a solution instead of finding a way to troubleshoot this problem in a specific model and device.

Do I really have to give up on functions that have worked perfectly for two years? That makes no sense.

Please assist me in finding the root cause of this problem. A device shouldn't degrade this quickly in such a short period of time.
