Versa 4 Calendar Issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My new Versa 4 won’t show my calendar notifications. I’ve followed the instructions from the manual, but nothing comes through on the Versa. What other options do I have to get them to come through?  Is there another calendar app I can use that works better?

Thanks.

I’m an iPhone user as well.

Hi @AliMae75 - first pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn off all the icons.

Of course if your watch becomes disconnected (a problem with the new Fitbit App) or another watch is connected to your phone or your watch is connecting to another device, you won't get notifications on it.

In the Fitbit App, device notifications check your calendar events is correctly setup and if you use a different calendar app, on an iPhone, to get the  app to appear in app notifications you need a pending notification on the status bar.

See How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Thank you! I checked all the settings you mentioned. I tested using the iPhone calendar and the Outlook app calendar and the Versa 4 is still not showing notifications. Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

@AliMae75- presumably the notifications appear on the phone status bar, and if so make sure you watch is syncing at the time, and that background running is allowed.

Guy. Technology has outpaced me. What exactly is the phones status bar?  I feel like I’ve set all the options on the FitBit app, and iPhone settings and calendar app settings as stated and nothing alerts the Versa. I even loaded Google calendar app to see if it would alert to the Versa. It’s just frustrating because I bought it specifically for the price point l, prior FitBit use and the main fact that I need multiple calendar alert notifications throughout my day. The extra hundred for an Apple Watch was out of my availability right now, but now I feel stuck with a very expensive pedometer that also tracks my water. lol. Any other suggestions are appreciated. Should I try going to an iFix type store and ask for help?

@AliMae75 - in the Fitbit App go to the Help & support section and chat with customer support who can guide you personally through the various options. Perhaps that is your best option.
